紐約郵報（New York Post）記者Jon Heyman台灣時間12日在社群網站表示，Chris Bassitt將拒絕紐約大都會給予的合格報價1965萬美元（約合新台幣6億2182萬元），選擇成為自由球員尋求更大合約，Bassitt在2023年春訓將滿34歲。
